Lucinda Mooney is coordinating Mental Health Association of Central Australia's upcoming Youth Wellbeing event, Heads Up, targeted at people aged 12 – 25 years and visits the Big Brekky to tell us whats in store for it. The event will take place on Monday 13 November 2023, at 10am – 2pm at the Alice Springs Convention Centre. The event features local young artists, live music, mental health speakers, lived experience speakers, activities, food, a chill-out space, a chat zone, dancing workshops and relevant informational stalls.

Bambadino released her latest EP, 'Over Easy', on Friday and launched it in her backyard with a BBQ and free entry for First Nations. The Big Brekky hears new music from Bambadino and her stories behind the album, listen in! Produced by Resin Moon, with backing vocals by Dave Crowe and Xavia, the album symbolises Bambadino's year which has had both joy and grief existing simultaneously, and it of course has a love song.

Pirate from The Black Wreath joins the Big Brekky to tell us about WreathFest, the Black Wreath record label and venue's 12th year anniversary. Celebrating with two huge nights of music on an outdoor stage, the event kicked off on Friday with a line up of local and interstate heavy music bands, then a DJ night on Saturday. Established on 11.11.2011, the local label also run Blacken Open Air Festival at Ross River, east of Mparntwe/Alice Springs, which began in 2013. Celebrating 12 years of the record label and approximately 7 years of The Black Wreath venue, Pirate says the venue "plays an important role in the community. It creates a space where a lot of our sub-cultures and niches and creatives can get together and put on events that you can't really get anywhere else in town."
