The Hon Ngaree Ah Kit MLA is currently visiting Mparntwe from Darwin in her 6th week in the job. Her large portfolio sees her as the Minister for Territory Families, the Minister for Urban Housing, the Minister for Youth, Seniors and Equality, the Minister for Multicultural Affairs, and the Minister for Disabilities.

She is in Alice Springs to get a greater understanding of issues that face our community, and has been touring with the Police force. Hear all about it on The Big Brekky Show as she talks on issues around safety and security; on passing legislation for security officers to carry pepper spray; youth programs and overnight accomodation/safe places; children and the justice system; the new youth detention centre; the Royal Commission recommendations; the independent NDIS review; and housing for people with disability in Mparntwe.
