With the aim of keeping things out of landfill, and learning how to repair our belongings, this free skill-share event brings together volunteer expert repairers to help you fix anything from bikes to clothes, to electronics and jewellery, plus a whole lot more.

In the Big Brekky Show today we had the talented Tumi Radebe and Jami Ashenden - the Jumiz! They were at the studio to tell us about Alice Beat, on at Araluen this Thursday 2 November. Jamie Lawson from Road Boss Rally tells the big Brekky about upcoming rallies across the country, which raise money for various charities. Also, Lawson will be doing the ring announcing for the Arrernte Community Boxing Academy event Punch Up In The Plaza this coming Saturday night. Road Boss Rally are a sponsor of the Arrernte Community Boxing Academy.

Punch Up In The Plaza will be held in the Alice Plaza on Saturday 28th October, with gates opening from 4pm. The event will feature Arrernte Boxing King "The Reaper" Keiffen Mardi as Main Event. Tickets are on sale via Arrernte Boxing here.
