Bunna Lawrie and Jason Scott (Bunna's son) from Coloured Stone treat us to a live-in-the-studio performance of the title track to their new album, Poisoned Planet. Coloured Stone formed in 1977 and originate from Koonibba Mission, west of Ceduna in South Australia. They are visiting Mparntwe to headline the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress' 50th birthday celebration which was last weekend at ANZAC Oval. The huge free event also featured Jason Lee Scott, Paul Ah Chee, Catherine Satour, and Belkbala Mujik. James Range Band manager, Claire, tells the Big Brekky about the young 9-piece  band from Areyonga, N.T., who are set to support Paul Kelly tomorrow (Saturday 14th October) at The Warm Up, a free Alice Springs Masters Games event marking opening day for registration for the 2024 Games. Steph Strings will also play, and there will sports activities and more, all held at ANZAC Oval, 2pm - 10pm.

Country musician, Brian Letton based in NSW, chats with the Big Brekky about his new release, 'SHE'.  Written by Terry Bennetts, Kelly Dixon and Brian Letton, it is a ballad about a woman who moves to the city from the family farm where she grew up and how, in later years, her family grown and moved on, she is now alone.
