Fresh off of a 59-14 foregone conclusion of a victory over the Wofford Terriers on Saturday the Clemson Tigers debut at #5 in the inaugural 2019 College Football Playoff rankings despite winning their 24th game in a row and remaining undefeated since claiming their 2018 title. In this ep we the discuss the rankings, which will inevitably look much different a month from now once the playoff teams are announced, and express no cause for concern of an undefeated Clemson team being left out (7:04). We then briefly touch on the Tigers’ inconsequential pounding of the Terriers (44:30) before offering our mid-season-ish assessment of a team that has yet to peak (1:02:06).
