90 Under 90

We conclude our Halloween appetizer run with a gripping indie film by Patrick Brice: "Creep" from 2014, co-starring the director himself and Mark Duplass.  We chat with Mike about this aptly-titled film that you cannot turn away from once it begins!

We chat with Ian Simmons about future Batman director Matt Reeves' found footage sci-fi horror "Cloverfield" from 2008 in our first ever listener recommended episode!

Pat Lewandowski is back to completely screw up the natural flow of movies!  We jump straight to the third movie in the Evil Dead trilogy: 1992's "Army of Darkness" directed by Sam Raimi and starring the B-movie mascot himself Bruce Campbell.

Madalyn Mattsey returns to talk about a raunchy female-driven comedy nearly 10 years ahead of its time, despite its flaws: 2002's "The Sweetest Thing" directed by Roger Kumble and starring Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate, Selma Blair, Jason Bateman, and everyone's favorite homeless dad Thomas Jayne.

Tom Zarnowski returns to discuss another classic cannabis comedy: "Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke" from 1978 directed by Lou Adler and starring...well Cheech and Chong, of course.  But also Stacy Keach!

It's Katie's birthday, so we gave her carte blanche to choose whatever title she wanted to discuss this week.  Thankfully she chose the GREATEST DISNEY MOVIE EVER MADE: 1995's "A Goofy Movie" directed by Kevin Lima and starring the voice talents of Bill Farmer, Jim Cummings, Jason Marsden, Kellie Martin, Rob Paulsen, Wallace Shawn, and Pauly Shore.

Jer and Dan welcome new guest host Jay Drumm to talk about a movie he had never seen prior to joining the show, but he then watched four times!  We discuss the indie dramedy "Jeff, Who Lives At Home" directed by the Duplass Brothers Jay and Mark, and starring Jason Segel, Ed Helms, Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon.

How a movie like "Beethoven" spawned 8,000 sequels is beyond us, but we sit down with Mike to talk about the original "Beethoven" from 1992 starring Charles Grodin, Bonnie Hunt, Dean Jones, and a giant Saint Bernard with eery puppet eyes.

Another week, another Disney reboot.  We talk with Kaitlin about the OG Lion King from 1994, the movie that encapsulates the Disney-ssaince of the early 90's.  Featuring the voice talents of James Earl Jones, Matthew Broderick, Jonathon Taylor Thomas, Jeremy Irons, Whoopi Goldberg, Nathan Lane and Cheech Marin.

Jer and Dan welcome new guest host Madalyn Mattsey to the show as they discuss a perfect sleepover movie: 1999's "Lake Placid" directed by Steve Miner and starring Bridget Fonda, Bill Pullman, Oliver Platt, Brendan Gleeson and Betty White.
