It was the best of times, it was... well, still pretty awesome times for the Houston Cougars (one host also came back with some good personal news) as Dustin and Sam soldiered on without Bobby who accidentally double booked us and dinner with his parents (understandably, the parents won out) to tackle the following topics:

• A nail biter of a road win at Oklahoma for men's basketball and an unfortunate season ending injury to a bright young star in JoJo Tugler as the regular season's final 2 games beckon
• A 2nd place at the Big 12 swim & dive championships for the Coogs that feels like a win
• Track & Field sends some potential high-placing athletes to NCAA Indoors
• Bat & ball sports start Big 12 play with very different expectations for very different opening weekend opponents
• Women's basketball forces us to ask some hard questions
