This a continuation of the epic adventure with Joel in the dead of winter for 9 days.  We were attempting to get him established in the wilderness so he could stay for 6 months by himself. Setting up a Tee Pee and becoming self sufficient was our goal in the coming days.

ATIW-Winter Camping In The Tetons. A true story of a 9 day trip into The Grant Teton National Forest with my best friend Joel. What Does Service and Serving Teach Your Boy?

In this episode I talk about another of the Pillars in A Boy’s Life—Service.  Service or serving is all about giving instead of receiving.  The Knights of Round Table had a motto inscribed on their round table that states: “In serving others we become free.” Jesus said, “if you want to be great in the Kingdom of God then you need to be the servant of all”.  I give personal examples of how I taught my son to serve by serving, and also give plenty of suggestions for types of service you might consider as you teach thru activity this important aspect every man should manifest.
