Cliff Climbing In Saudi Arabia And The Big Fall!

Another true story of a rock climbing adventure in Saudi Arabia.  This is near death happened as I was trying to climb to the top of a rock formation called a Jebel. I the story of how really stupid I was to take the risk which could have resulted in serious injury or death.  The end result is rather funny when I found one article of clothing in a place I was certain an ancient town once existed.

Camping With Camels, Goats, and Beduins in Saudi Arabia

Another story about an adventure in Saudi Arabia where I got to camp overnight with a Beduin family in the Empty Quarter of Saudi Arabia. I get to experience the primitive life of a nomadic family with around 100 camels and 200 goats.  They have four vehicles carrying all of their belongings.

 

 

The Day Santa Died

On this episode I talk about the day your boy’s ‘age of innocence’ ends.  This is an important transition in a boy or girl when he/she no longer stores everything as ‘truth’.  Prior to this day a parent or mentor has the opportunity to input influence without barriers.  The ability of determine truth from untruth is a crucial developmental transition that every parent must be aware of.  Up to this time a parent did not have to wonder if your son was telling you the truth or not. However, after the transition we must be aware of this new found ability.  Teaching and modeling the core value of truth become important at this time.

* Emphasis the core value of ‘truth’ in his life.
