Her friend Shawn, estranged wife to a biker named Jerry Dean, introduced Karla to Danny Garrett. They spent days doing hardcore drugs and alcohol. They went to burglarize Jerry Dean but Karla’s anger over a past situation, plus being drugged up, took over her and the robbery quickly turned into a double homicide.
