In Matthew 22:34, an expert in the law asked Jesus a question. He asked Jesus what was the greatest commandment. Jesus responded "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."
How is this commandment possible? The only way for us to truly love God is for us to have to intimacy with him and have his love and to give it away to others.
