Takunda and Aniket join Rachel and Sam in the studio to chat about being part of the series Rediscovering Aotearoa. Discussing decolonisation, Takunda's spoken word poetry in the Reo episode, and Aniket's medical education in the Hauora episode, as well as how watching this series impacted them. A moving and important watch.

Sam's reviewing The Morning Show (2019) on the Breakfast Show today. Maybe not the best show of the year but he still managed to binge five episodes in one night and got pretty excited about it. With stars like Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell, it's worth a short binge.

We're talking Watchmen (2019) with Sam this week. Another superhero series that we didn't know we needed, the one that Sam has dubbed 'Best of the Year', complete with punchy superhero's, heavy undertones and a giant squid monster. What more can we say?

Producer Kayne and artist Jaimie, from the Takatāpui episode of the Rediscovering Aotearoa series, pop into the studio to chat with Sam and Rachel about making the episode and the importance of sharing their voices. Jaimie and Kayne talk about decolonisation, identity and the meaning of Takatāpui. This is definitely a series that's important to watch.

We've got a big dose of Paul Rudd in Sam's review of Living With Yourself (2019), this morning. A dramedy that will make you laugh and possibly cry, with a performance by Paul Rudd that you don't want to miss. A slightly slow start, but worth pushing through, Sam reckons.

Sam's back after an emotional rollercoaster ride that goes by the name Modern Love (2019). With a huge casting line up, the shows based around real-life essay of love, heartbreak and everything in between. If you're looking for something to shed some tears to, this is the show for you.

Sam brings it back to some local shows this week, and after binging Educators on TVNZ last night, he's impressed. These 15 minute episodes are full of relatable content and real laughs-out-loud, plus a load of familar faces. Sam reckons this is definitely worth your time.

Sam watched a whole season of Barry in one night and it's safe to say he highly recommends it. This series follows Bill Hader, who plays a hit man who moves to LA and decides it's time for a career change (obviously not always easy in the world of assassination). Sam reckons Barry has flown under the radar and is definitely worth a watch.

With voting on his mind, Sam dived into Ryan Murphy's latest $300m Netflix deal, The Politician. So, does big money make good TV? Sam endured the entire first season to find out, and in his opinion, no it does not. Although the show tries to tackle some of the serious issues we're facing in society, Sam wonders if it might have missed the mark... This might be one to check out for yourself.

Sam joins Pearl in studio to talk about the latest entertainment he's been enjoying. Women Who Kill, starring Lucy Liu, has caught his attention. Is it worth a Sam Sinnott binge or just something to pass the time?
