Today's interview is with the empowering Nyla Watson, a Broadway actor, singer, and founder of Queen Studios of Voice and Acting. She has a Masters in Vocal Performance from NYU and has performed in Showboat at Lincoln Center, The Wicked National Tour, The Color Purple National Tour, Waitress on Broadway, and is currently acting in the Hadestown National Tour!

 

She shares her story, including how she started to sing and how God has truly led her creative journey, like with her audition process for Hadestown. She also shares very practical advice on:

- getting started in the musical theatre industry

- shifting your mindset about rejection and discouragement

- giving yourself permission to sing, act, and be the best version of yourself

- serving in and supporting local theatre
