The happiest place on Earth is even happier for two foster kids...

Disney's Magic Kingdom truly became the most magical place on Earth for two foster children.

Courtney and Tom Gilmour have been foster parents to 12-year-old Janielle and 10-year-old Elijah for three years. They recently took the kids to Disney World in Orlando where they met Mickey Mouse ... who had a very special surprise for them.

The kids walked into the room to meet Mickey and take pictures with them. They never expected what happened next.

As they posed for the camera, Mickey presented them with a sign letting them know that Courtney and Tom were officially adopting them.

Once the surprise sunk in, both kids were brought to tears. Even Mickey got emotional and kept hugging the family.

Courtney says they got their adoption day right before they left for the trip, and she was able to get in touch with Disney employees who worked fast to help arrange the big surprise.

Dog Save Baby Deer from Drowning

In Long Island, New York, a man was walking his Golden Retriever, Storm, when the dog spotted a baby deer in Long Island Sound, struggling in the water.

According to Mark Freeley, Storm plunged into the water, swam out to the fawn, and dragged it back to shore. Storm then used his paw to nudge the deer to make sure she was alive. Amazingly, Freely captured the whole thing on video.

An animal rescue team took the deer to a nearby shelter, where it’s being treated.

Once the deer is back to full strength, it will be released to its natural habitat.
