My older sister and I had the same room until I moved out to live in a college dormitory.  My parents gave my brother one room and another room was given to us.

My sister always had more power in our relationship.  We slept in a double bed together, and she preferred the wall side.  She said it’s more cozy.  I had to sleep with my head positioned below her shoulders, so that her arms could move freely.

Anyway, we used to chat for hours sometimes before we fell asleep. My mom often had to warn us about that.

Now, my two daughters are sleeping together.  They are always talking, laughing, and singing.  I also warn them when it gets late, with exactly the same lines my mom used to use.
