A Better World with Mitchell J. Rabin

Bruce Lipton, cellular biologist, is Mitchell's guest this evening.

What is the role of genes, what are the roles of emotions, mind, beliefs and lifestyle in health and illness.

Tonight, you'll learn!

This evening, Mitchell speaks with Patch Adams, M.D.and Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., to discuss the role of smiling laughing, loving and clowning in healing and health, not to mention, overall well-being.  www.patchadams.com

Central to the discussion will be the creative contribution of Patch’s unique, free hospital and eco-village to a healthcare system run amok by businessmen instead of physicians and healers, and what we can do about it with new models such as Patch’s.  In the second part of this evening’s program we focus on the role of emotions, especially, love, joy, play, compassion and optimism in physical and mental health when Bruce Lipton, renowned cellular biologiest, author and teacher, joins the dialogue.  www.brucelipton.com

Dr. Bruce Lipton, world-renowned cellular biologist, author of The Biology of Belief, speaks with Mitchell today about the mythical relationship between genes and disease, and the more powerful relationship between our emotions, beliefs and our bodies.

Tune in for a provocative interview between these two colleagues and friends.

This evening, Mitchell discusses the Environment and both personal and planetary healing.  Our first job is taking care of our own health–physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Simultaneous to that is our taking care of our environment, from the home to our community, city, nation, planet.  Our ignoring these on any level re-visits us until we address and balance.

As it stands now, so many people’s health is out of balance due to excess stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, unhealthy relationships and emotions along with minimum sleep.

How do we boost excitement, upliftment and hope at times of such social and environmental injustice?  He will take a special look at the Standing Rock Native American, & Pipeline issue.

Mitchell addresses the personal and planetary challenges of our time through his principle of Sacred Stewardship.  Tune in, join in, to today's thoughtful, hopeful show. What's the role of love, listening, compassion and attention in all of this?

This evening Mitchell will hold an Enlightened Politics Round Table with several colleagues to discuss both the election in particular, in addition to looking at what is needed to create a more enlightened Body Politic, voice of and for the People and a much greater integral, integrity-based, refinement of the art of governance.

Tonight, Mitchell will be joined by Dr. Ron Friedman, Robert Levine, Rick Ulfik and Kurt Johnson, all members with Mitchell of FIONS, the Friends of the Institue of Noetic Sciences in NYC.

We have all been consumed by the political rhetoric of the candidates and the media pundits for whom truth is Trumped by a good jab to the right or left… jowl.  It is time to see clearly what it is we’re dealing with and then put energy and attention toward creating the kind of compassionate, responsible governance many of us would like to see.  We need to heal around a deep wound expressed through the obsessive pursuit of power and wealth in this country (and world) and re-create ourselves as balanced, loving, rational human beings committed to a higher view and service to Earth and all sentient life.

We’ll review the results of the day before, Election Day and the implications for us all regarding the candidate who is elected.  We’ll of course consider third parties as part of the discussion. This will be an exciting and timely Round Table!

Wednesday, Nov. 2, Drs. J.J. & Desiree Hurtak join Mitchell to discuss the current global environmental situation as well as the marginalization of indigenous groups, especially in and around the Amazon Rainforest.J.J. & Desiree Hurtak have been on A Better World Radio & TV in the past, and will also discuss a “Follow up to Fukushima”, a nuclear accident which traumatized the Earth and all sentient life.  Most people don’t seem to realize it, but Fukushima is a trauma which just “keeps giving”.  Just because radiation is invisible, doesn’t mean it isn’t exerting its powerfully toxic effect.
