After a four-year hiatus, the Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE) is back and presenting the present and future of the aerospace, defense, UAV, and space industries at Taiwan’s only aerospace and defense trade show.
With recent current events putting the industry in the spotlight, this year’s TADTE is the largest show ever, with nearly 180 exhibitors participating, and all 910 exhibition booths occupied.
This 3-day event contains much business and trend talks, but also include many hands-on experience events and activities that will surely give everyone a different view on an industry that the general public deem to be very secretive.

MND has held its first shooting camp for the reserves and there were more than 100 reservists who paid individually for the chance to participate in.
The camp was opened only to the reservists who served in the military and retired within the last 12 years.
One participant says he hopes that future camps will be opened up to more potential students.
We used obstacle boards to train shooting in different positions.
When we were in the military, we used to be trained shooting in prone position.

【國防小知識】

就歷史、地理及國際法而言，南沙群島、西沙群島、中沙群島、東沙群島及其周遭水域係屬中華民國固有領土及水域，其主權屬於中華民國。

1.東沙群島： 2007年成立東沙環礁國家公園，為中華民國第七座國家公園，其中的東沙島有海巡署官兵常態駐守。

2.西沙群島：屬於高雄轄下，由永樂群島和宣德群島組成，海岸線總長518公里，海域面積50多萬平方公里。

3.中沙群島：管理權責單位為海巡署，位於西沙群島東南約100公里，大部分是一群沒有露出水面的珊瑚礁石。

4.南沙群島：由230多個島、洲、礁、沙和灘組成，最大的島嶼便是本集節目中聊到的太平島，但這裡也是全球邊界爭議最多的島嶼群。
