Despite the gaudy rhetoric, the climate crisis was overlooked in the 2021-2022 Federal Budget and it takes a diligent search of the Budget Overview to find any real reference to the environment.

The climate crisis is directly assaulting our communities, but it is quite difficult to find any reference in the Budget papers just how the Federal Government intends to address this existential matter.

Here at Climate Conversations, we are far from sure that our decision-makers, the Liberal National Party coalition has any sense or understanding, that we are facing a crisis.
