Episode 101 is a long form chat with multi instrumentalist KATI RAN, using a variety of historical folk instruments she is part of what we could call the new-folk scene that's been growing across the world over the last decade.

She's just worked on the soundtrack for the Netflix show VALHALLA, has released several of her own solo albums, worked with Gaahl, soundtracked games such as 'Vigor' and appeared with Myrkur, Folk Noir and worked with directors such as Nick Steinbuch and Trevor Morris!!

Aside from all that this is a great chat about culture, mythology, history and how it echoes down through the ages, the search for spirituality, how come this new folk scene got so god damn big so soon! is it part of some deeper existential question of longing in the West?, and how it perfectly ties into the world of gaming, and growing up as a larping nerd and how all of this ties into the modern visual world!!!
