As many other Hallmark movies, this one was also filmed in Canada, including the Vernon and Okanagan Valley regions of British Columbia. MentalFloss.com reports that most Hallmark movies have a $2 million dollar budget and the reason they shoot in Canada is because tax breaks can stretch the dollar.
