We interviewed author and former federal prosecutor Jonathan Lash about his new book What Death Revealed. His time as a federal prosecutor working in the gritty, violent Washington D.C. of the seventies comes up in his fictional tale of Jimmy McFarland, an idealistic white prosecutor, who teams up with Larry Williams, a Black police sergeant and Vietnam veteran to tackle murder, violence, racism, and widespread corruption in our nation’s capital.
