In this episode, Grant and Glenn discuss the future of ACD, the intentional non-partisan nature of local elections, and personal journeys for both of our intrepid hosts. With a few episodes under their belt, they also discuss the show to date and ask the question of whether or not they accomplished what they set out to do and whether or not there should be more yelling? As the last show before a short hiatus, keep an eye out for future episodes with possibly a new host, a new style, and a new hot takes on existential angst with at least more yelling of the word, "Furthermore!". 

The boys (Grant and Glenn) do a rundown of the current political field for the 2024 presidential election. They ask the important questions: “Are we being punked? This is the best we can do?”

The boys examine a recent federal court ruling enjoining the federal government from leaning on the social media platforms. I just government doesn't like the content of your tweets, should they be able to shut you up?

Grant and Glenn discuss the new work requirements in order for applicants to receive federal welfare benefits. A broader discussion of poverty, and the best way for society to lift people up out of poverty ensues. 

Grant and Glenn at it again - the boys talk about Ukraine and how totally freaking exhausting it is for the US to (seemingly) be creeping our way back into yet another armed military conflict. We consider the legal authority to be doing what we’re doing, the wisdom of it, and other related stuff.

Grant and Glenn aver that they currently possess no poorly secured classified documents in their respective homes, and they examine the (clearly supported) sense that the nation is apparently awash in classified documents stored in highly secure garages, bathrooms, and ballrooms. There's also a yummy comparo of the Trump Biden, Pence, and Hillary classified document cases. #factsmatter

Grant and Glenn snatch some stories out of today's headlines, and discuss, compare, and contrast the relative sins of the Bidens, the Trumps, and others. And boy, is some of what they do sinful!

The boys provide a status/recap of the show and its direction, and Glenn provides an update on his first 25-day stint on the Pacific Crest Trail, and about how his personal hygiene was, well, impacted.  

Grant and Glenn talk about the timeless belief that kids these days are somehow worse than we were growing up, and the larger common mindset that things were better then and are worse now. The hosts call BS on this view and examine evidence that things, over the arc of time, are actually getting better, not worse. Hope springs eternal (mostly). 

Grant and Glenn discuss the interrelationship between government and religion. The boys talk about their religious backgrounds, public views on religion in modern society, instances where government and religion have intersected, the meaning of "separattion of church and state," and whether the boundaries between the two are appropriately placed.
