You don’t have to look far to find the sin of pride. You may be quick to recognize it our Government leaders, in the pro athletes of our day or even movie stars. But do we see it in our own hearts? It’s a real battle in our daily walk, whether we realize it or not, and today we find the disciples of Jesus’ day engaged in it big time! They’re arguing over who will be the greatest in the Kingdom of God, and needed a lesson in humility. Something we can all stand to benefit from!

As a rule of thumb, whatever goes up must come down. The process is so predictable that you could refer to it as a scientific law. Today on the program we’ll look at a key event in the earthly life of Jesus Christ. The transfiguration. The Lord went up Mt. Tabor with his disciples Peter, James, and John and before their eyes Jesus was transfigured. Moses and Elijah appeared beside Him, and all three men were clothed in dazzling white. The transfiguration is an important event because it not only foreshadows Christ's future glory, but also demonstrates a divine proclamation of His Sonship as we’ll on A Daily Walk.
