A Daily Walk on Oneplace.com

Pastor John Randall is at the tail-end of a study in Mark, and today we bring chapter 15 into focus. We take you to Calvary today, where in just six hours Jesus changed the eternal destiny of mankind. It’s hard to put into words all that our Savior went through for us. And remember He died in our place, receiving all the punishment we deserved. And He did so obediently, and in love.

We’re faced with decisions, big and small, on a daily basis. What do we do, and where can we turn for guidance? Today on a Daily Walk we’ll learn a thing or two from Joseph’s life. He was faced with a decision of his own in Matthew chapter one, and was willing to do the right thing in spite of the cost! Allow that to be an inspiration to you today, so your next decision can be a good and godly one.

What are you going to do with Jesus? There’s no greater question we could consider than that. And we will today on a Daily Walk. Will you deny Him, or attempt to wash your hands of Him, or embrace Him in faith? Keep that question in the back of your mind. We’re traveling on the road to the cross, through a study of Mark. Jesus is nearing the time when He would be hung on a cross for our sins, but before He does, Peter would deny Him three times just as the Lord predicted.

We’ve spent a considerable amount of time studying the gospel of Mark on the program, and today we return to chapter fourteen. We’ve all committed shameful acts- things that we’re certainly not proud of as followers of Christ- and wish nobody knew about. The good news is God can completely forgive us and use us after the failure. If you need proof, just open your Bible! Today we’ll take a look at a low point in Peter’s life, and pastor John will connect it to God’s all-sufficient grace.

Today on a Daily Walk we find Jesus going through the most difficult rejection prior to going to the cross. One of His disciples sold him out, a close friend denies Him, and the religious leaders turn against Him. He would go to the cross alone. But none of this would deter Him or set Him off course.

We’re learning how to become a worshipper of Jesus today on A Daily Walk, with pastor John Randall. And a great example of true worship is found in Mark chapter fourteen. Here we run across Mary demonstrating a life of worship. We’ll notice it was calculated, costly, required full commitment, it was criticized and most importantly commended by Jesus.

Today, we begin a study of Mark chapter fourteen. There we are at church on Sunday sitting in the pew singing along with the worship team, or we click on our favorite music app on our phone, and we call it worship! But that’s not the only way we worship! As we’ll see in a moment it’s a way of life. Today we run across a woman who was involved in true worship that caught the attention of Jesus.

Even the casual observer recognizes there’s a lot going on right now relating to end times prophecy! It’s becoming increasingly clear, the Lord could return very soon. As God is drawing things to a rapid close, what are we to be doing? That’s the all-important question we’ll pursue today on a Daily Walk as we finish up the Olivet Discourse in Mark chapter thirteen.
