Blood pours out in such ridiculous quantities you start to wonder if the entire cast is secretly filled with raspberry jam. A perfectly normal teenage girl meets a perfectly immortal teenage boy and immediately decides that sneaking off into the woods with him is totally reasonable behavior. What follows is a dreamy, syrup-drenched morality tale about love, time, and why drinking from mysterious woodland springs is almost always a terrible life choice. The Tuck family does their best to explain that eternal life is actually kind of a logistical nightmare... imagine paying taxes forever. In the end, it’s a gentle, bittersweet fantasy that asks the big question: is immortality worth it if you still have to deal with your relatives for all eternity?

A grieving couple moves into an old New England house, which is obviously a great idea because nothing bad has ever happened in a creaky snow-covered murder cabin built before electricity. The house immediately responds by acting like a passive-aggressive roommate who keeps “accidentally” setting the place on fire to get their attention. Meanwhile, the local townspeople are so suspicious they may as well be wearing matching sweaters that say “We Know Something And It’s Definitely Your Problem.” By the time the ghosts show up, the film has fully committed to being a paranormal demolition derby... and honestly, good for them.
