Many Christians think Scripture doesn’t say anything about the age of the earth so it could be millions of years old. Now, Scripture doesn’t give us an exact age or it’d be outdated every year! But it does make it clear earth isn’t millions of years old.
You see, Genesis one tells us God created everything in six days. Some people try and squeeze millions of years into these days, but the context shows they were ordinary days.
In the Old Testament, whenever “day” is used with “evening,” “morning” or a number it always means an ordinary day. Genesis one uses all of these!
You simply can’t fit millions of years into Genesis.
