Donna and Leslie discuss making sure we women stay aware of our surroundings....especially during the holidays. As the world continues to "open back up"...crime is still happening so being aware remains a top priority we often don't think about.

Leslie made the difficult decision to leave her job and how it has changed her life for the better! We discuss that sometimes we make decisions harder than they need to be? Do we over analyze? Do we make rash decisions? Do we have friends we call before we make or are struggling with a decision; or vice versa? Donna and Leslie discuss the perils of bottomless brunch with less than top shelf sparkling wine. The perils of women's foundations and finding good ones that fit and are halfway comfortable. Lastly, Leslie discusses her previous and upcoming surgical procedure and her fear of pain medicine.

Donna and Leslie are back after an unexpected break. Donna discusses what has been going on with her parents and how caregiver burnout is real! Families need to have the uncomfortable conversations around aging parents and being prepared. Leslie discusses her career journey has taken a must needed turn. We catch up on Netflix stuff. Leslie discusses her night out on the town for the first time since Covid. This then causes Donna and Leslie to reminisce about the good old days of partying before social media and the need to document as opposed to just going out and having a good time without and agenda. The vibe has been lost! We miss it and acknowledge it's gone and it'll never come back. Le sigh.....

Leslie and Donna are getting a little sick and tired of the social media posts that come for Black Women over 50 who are single....for whatever reason!!! It needs to stop and some of these men's collective slips are showing! We have had enough and we speak on it this week!

Donna and Leslie just chat about how time is flying and we are in the 4th Quarter of 2021. So...what do you want to get done before the end of the year? Have you accomplished anything you set out to do this year? We have a very candid conversation around how we want to end the year.

Leslie shares about some recent events in her life where her boundaries were crossed. It brought up a long discussion around what exactly the definition of boundaries is and what constitutes healthy versus unhealthy boundaries. We have all dealt with this issue and as women of a certain age; how we deal with it now versus when we were younger is also at the root of this discussion. Donna and Leslie are back with an episode that started out talking about positivity and the importance of staying upbeat as we still traverse this Pandemic. Somehow this episode took a hard left and devolved into a discussion of our parents obsession with the lottery and casinos.
