LIVE – WED., MARCH 24, 2021
Today’s episode will feature inspirational music, positive inspirations, and an exclusive interview with recording artist PREZ BLACKMON. He is here with us for our INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC HIGHLIGHT to discuss his SINGLE, “THANK GOD FOR WHAT DIDN’T HAPPEN”. In this episode, this Los Angeles, CA-based, singer/songwriter will present the meaning behind his single. With this one, you are certainly headed to church! In 2002, Prez began gaining national buzz when he partnered with Renee Spearman to release the Billboard charting album, “Celebrate”. A few years later, the 2008 offering, “Dr. Bobby Jones Presents - Renee Spearman & Prez” (JDI Records), peaked at #13 on Billboard and garnered Prez Blackmon his first Stellar Gospel Music Award nomination. Prez eventually transitioned into spending several years recording background vocals on some of Gospel music’s most memorable classics: Mary Mary - “Can’t Give Up Now”, Kurt Carr - “In The Sanctuary”, and Norman Hutchins - “God’s Got A Blessing (With My Name On It)”. In 2018, Prez Blackmon was a featured vocalist on the multiple Stellar Award winning Bishop Noel Jones Presents: The City Of Refuge Sanctuary Choir - “Run To The Alter” project (Tyscot Records). You can find Prez on the mid-tempo, contemporary track, “Rain”. Prez Blackmon is excited about the radio servicing of “Thank God For What Didn’t Happen”. He has heard Bishop Noel Jones say “Thank God for what didn’t happen” many times. Yet, “after the challenging year we’ve all had, I felt it was time to release that message to the world in song. When you consider what 'didn’t happen', it changes your perspective...it makes you more grateful and thankful”, proclaims Prez. Please review “Thank God For What Didn’t Happen” (MP3 Attached) and forward your candid feedback regarding its airplay potential at your earliest convenience. “Thank God For What Didn’t Happen” is currently available on all digital download/streaming outlets, including Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play.
