Hey yall! Today’s episode is about triggers and being able to identify them. Growing up, I didn’t understand why something as simple as a smell, a touch, a sound, scenery, etc. would cause me to break down and cry. Or cause me to be quick to anger. It wasn’t until I went to therapy in California where my therapist informed me that I had PTSD - and I was being triggered by certain things unintentionally. Knowing what triggers you is not only an important thing so you can avoid any depressive episodes or PTSD, but also a POWERFUL thing. I know I used to feel weak and little to my triggers, but knowing what they are & having in place therapeutic practices to help with them, has left me feeling powerful and strong again.
