  • The Psychology Spirituality Connection with Psychotherapist Jeffrey Bryan
We live in tremendously exciting times. I call this the Age of Empowerment because of the explosive growth of our knowledge; knowledge that empowers us to act in powerful ways that fulfill and enrich our lives. We have extensive knowledge about psychology and modern spirituality, but knowing how to integrate psychology and spirituality is just beginning to develop. This talk is about that integration. We will learn how self-psychology contributes to our spiritual growth, and explore how our spirituality aids our psychological growth. We will:
Define self-psychology and spiritualityTalk about the benefits of linking our psychological understanding of our self with our spiritual growthExamine beliefs and “issues” to see how they affect our spiritualityConsider an example to help us see how this can work
Today's special guest Jeffrey Bryan has been a psychotherapist, a licensed clinical social worker, for 39 years. His book The Operating Manual for the Selfis based on over 44,000 clinical interviews. It is a comprehensive reference and self-help book that describes and integrates the most important concepts of the psychology of the self. Mr. Bryan then extends these concepts, and adds the innovative ideas that will take us into the rest of the 21st century. Along with theory, the book includes practices that the reader can utilize for personal change and growth.
Mr. Bryan has also founded the International Institute for Self-development (IIFSD.org), which holds the vision of helping us to, “Awaken and Further Our Human Potential Through Self-Development.” The activities of the institute include: publishing books, giving worships and talks to a worldwide audience, and training new and experienced therapists.

After many years of keeping quiet, today's special guest Madeleine Black, author of the book Unbroken decided to share her story.
Violently gang-raped at thirteen, raped three more times before the age of eighteen, Madeleine has experienced more trauma in her life that most ever will.

She wants to spread her message: It’s not what happens to us that is important, but what we do with what happens to us and if we choose to, we can get past anything that happens to us in life.

  • Embracing Supreme Love In Yourself with Jeanine Staples
Terror and love don't typically go together in the same sentence but for more and more women the pairing has become a harsh reality. This is especially true in a post 9/11 world. In our day and age acts of emotional, psychological, and physical violence play out publicly (in the mainstream media), and privately (in intimate partnerships). In light of this, today's special guest Jeanine Staples asks: How does terror in love impact the way women show up in relationships and how women operate in the world? Can we feel safe, healed, and whole in an age where relational and social terrors against Black women's bodies and souls are common culture?
In Jeanine Staples' debut book, The Revelations of Asher: Toward Supreme Love in Self, these questions are explored. This isn't a lovey-dovey take on relationships or "self-help". It is a raw look at how women heal from deep traumas using the tools of emotional literacy and emotional justice. Jeanine is on a mission to teach women how to turn toward supreme love in self, a concept that goes beyond the limits of self-love. Her extensive research reveals women's fragmented selves and the five ways women live as lovers: Main Chick, Side Chick, Bonnie, Bitch, and Victim.
Jeanine Staples is Associate Professor of Literacy and Language, African American Studies, and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the Pennsylvania State University. Her teaching has been nationally acclaimed. She is a scholar, educator, and coach and has received numerous awards and honors for her talents and professional contributions to the field of literacy studies. She is a survivor of multiple terrors in love. To learn more visit www.jeaninestaples.com and www.thesupremeloveproject.com.

  • The After Death Chronicles with Annie Mattingley
Special guest Annie Mattingley, author of The After Death Chronicles: True Stories of Comfort, Guidance, and Wisdom from Beyond the Veil is with us today to talk about her book.
This is a book about ordinary people—plumbers, artists and accountants, bakers and beauticians, teachers and lawyers—who have been able to receive communication from loved ones who have died. Included here are accounts from over 80 people across the country who have had contact with the dead through the diaphanous veil that separates them from the living. The book begins with the story of Annie’s deceased daughter speaking to heri n the early morning hours. The communication was so transformative that she began to share her experience. Much to her surprise, she discovered that after-death communication is much more common than is normally assumed, and she began to connect with other folks across the country who had similar experiences.
Each of the ten chapters is organized around a specific kind of after-death communication. Included here are chapters on dreams, verbatim conversations, and synchronicity through nature and various other physical manifestations, descriptions of the results of these occurrences, and advice on how to open up to after death communication. This book inspires in the reader reassurance, courage, healing, and a sense of wonder.

  • Waking Up in 5D: Living the New Multidimensional Life with Maureen St. Germain
Today's special guest, Maureen St. Germain, is a modern day mystic, who has become world famous for her trainings in personal development and spiritual awakening in more than two dozen countries. The author of three bestselling books, she is founder of Transformational Enterprises and the Akashic Records Guides International. Living herself in 5D and above (there are 12 dimensions described in the book), she has a unique first-hand perspective that she imparts to those ready to accelerate their transition into the higher dimensions.
Whether we are aware of it or not, humanity is increasingly transitioning into the 5th Dimension. Learning how to intentionally and permanently function in 5D changes how you see and act in the world - no more good vs bad thinking, no more competitive striving, no more struggle, no more linear one-way thinking, no more retaining pain and regret over past hurts or relationships, no more worry-no more polarity!
Have you ever momentarily lost track of where you are or what you are doing? Or perhaps become astonished at arriving on time for an appointment for which you left so late -- but you made it on time? Or things just happened so synchronistically that you are in a state of  wonder?
If so, you might just have been flirting with being in the 5th Dimension, according to today's special guest, Maureen St. Germain. This personal growth and spiritual luminary has now written a book that will give you the tools to live a multidimensional life - to operate from the realm of love and joy, instead of the polarized world of the 3D mindset. It is the manual for your vibrational recalibration, so you can rise above the limitations imposed by 3D, and live open to the infinite possibilities that become available to you when activating from a state of love.
