This episode explains how southern white Republicans banded together to form the Lily-White movement, which systematically ousted black leaders from their positions in the GOP, and how the party started courting white voters in the South, which was dominated by the Democrats.

I detail the rise of the Lily-White movement and its conflict with the Black and Tan faction of the Republican Party and how the latter eventually gained control of the GOP in the South.

These are only two of the myths that conservative media is currently peddling about the BLM movement.

In this episode, we're focusing on the recent shooting of two police officers in Los Angeles, CA and the Black Lives Matter movement.

There are several talking points that the right tends to use in relation to BLM, but many conservatives do not understand why these particular arguments are not accurate.

While this is not a defense of the national Black Lives Matter organization, it is important that the right has a nuanced and honest approach to the movement.
