Prayer : Lord help me with grace to listen before I speak in Jesus name.

Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.

Most of us need training and the grace to listen.

We all love to be heard, but when you speak a lot you give yourself little or no room to pay attention.

Sunday 06 April 2025 - Guard and watch your heart

Acts 9:36-43 NKJV

Prayer : Ask God for grace that we should be full of good works that will benefit those around us.

Guard - protect

Watch - pay attention

Mark 3:5 NKJV

And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.

We sometimes take it lightly how important it is to manage our hearts.

The heart is generally a place where a lot of things begin.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Intimate - private & personal

It is not everyone whom you invite or allow into your house.

There must be a relationship either directly or indirectly through others.

There must be trust to let anyone into your safe space.

Many of us have Jesus Christ in our:

Hearts, Marriage, Family, Career, Business, Relationships, Homes, etc

And yet we’re still saying;

Can He heal me?

Can he repair this marriage/relationship?

Can he change my life?

Is he capable?

Does He really care?

Sunday 23 March 2025 - Know What Jesus Christ is Capable of

‭‭John‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.””

Prayer: Lord I want to know you and about you. Holy Spirit help me in the name of Jesus Christ.

And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."

Sunday 16 March 2025 - Hear Him

Hello Friend of Jesus,

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭31‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“The ear that listens to and learns from the life-giving rebuke (reprimand, censure) Will remain among the wise.”

Prayer : Holy Spirit help me to listen to the lessons of life and in the process learn plus grow in the name of Jesus Christ.

Hear - This means listen to or discern (recognize).

It is not everyone in life whom you listen to nor is it a lot of people you recognize their input to your life.

Matthew 17:5 NKJV - “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”

These were the words of God right after Jesus Christ had just been baptized by John the Baptist.

Are you ready and willing to listen after hearing His voice?

John 10: 27-28 KJV

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Can you tell the difference between Christ’s voice and other voices?

Sunday 09 March 2025 - There is no compliment without God

Hello Friend of Jesus,

“Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

A compliment is an expression of praise or admiration

This can be in Looks, Ability, Achievements, Children, Wife / marriage, Ministry, Anointing, Acquisitions, Wisdom / knowledge/ understanding, Gifts/talents, etc.

1 Samuel 18:6 When the victorious Israelite army was returning home after David had killed the Philistine, women from all the towns of Israel came out to meet King Saul. They sang and danced for joy with tambourines and cymbals. [7]This was their song: “Saul has killed his thousands, and David his ten thousands’’.

Understand that you are most vulnerable at your time or moment of victory as a child of God.

Deuteronomy 8:18 Remember the lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath.

While it is good to hear sweet and wonderful words about you, your family, achievements, character, personality, etc, remember the source and don’t get swallowed in the moment and/or hype.

Prayer inspired from scripture;

‭‭Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭1‬, ‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?”

A signal is an indicator or warning.

Mark 14:44 NKJV

Now His betrayer had given them a signal, saying, "Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him and lead Him away safely."

Many times in life we have warning signs known as signals, which when or if ignored we end up in trouble.

How many times have you said:

I knew something was wrong or off.

Something did not feel right about it.

I had a gut feeling about it.

I just had an unsettling feeling.

I never even wanted to in the first place.

When signals are ignored what follows is; regret, bitterness, anger, jealousy, envy, disappointment, rage, blame, etc.

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.”

Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,”

Holding on to things of old is what sometimes keeps us from moving forward.

These can include:

Relationships,

achievements,

accomplishments,

Disappointments

Wrongs by others

Mistakes

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”

Psalm 34:15 NKJV

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.

Siblings asking why Mom always gave me money and never asked questions.

‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭47‬-‭48‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Here is an Israelite indeed [a true descendant of Jacob], in whom there is no guile nor deceit nor duplicity!” Nathanael said to Jesus, “How do You know [these things about] me?” Jesus answered, “Before Philip called you, when you were still under the fig tree, I saw you.””

Change followed by transformation takes place when you are noticed.

‭‭Job‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?””

Here are a few things to consider:
