In part one we discussed the murders of Stevie Branch, Christopher Byers and Michael Moore. We looked into the lives of the suspects and others related to the murders. Now in part two we are going over the development of the case and the trial of Jessie Misskelly Jr. Welcome back to the bleak world of West Memphis, Arkansas during the height of the Satanic Panic.

Fans of Stranger Things may notice the similarities between the fourth season of the show and the real story of the West Memphis 3. Those who love the character Eddie Munson may know that he was modeled after Damien Echols. If you know the story of the West Memphis 3 you will pick up other Easter eggs in the show as well. For those that don't, as with season four of Stranger Things, this does not have a happy ending. This is a story of tragedy, hate, anger, and fear. The obvious victims are forgotten in the circus that ensues. The villians of the story are actually victms as well. They are victims of circumstance, poverty, corruption, and the court of public opinion. This is part one of three of the West Memphis Three.

On the afternoon of November 13, 2022 Moscow Idaho police were summoned to a house on Kings Road. The call was for an unconscious person. Instead, the police found the mutilated bodies of four college students. Residents of the small college town were terrified and the families and friends of the victims were devastated. With no immediate suspects and no known motive the police of Moscow, Idaho put their noses to the grindstone. Law enforcement did an impressive job of piecing all of the evidence together and locating a damn good suspect.
