I recently introduced myself as Marie-Nicole…

and someone said;

“I never hear anyone use their full name.”

Later, I heard her do the same.

A small moment… but a powerful reminder.

Our names carry more than sound.
They carry identity.

Mine was never something to simplify.

I say it in full.
And when it’s met… I feel seen.

Being thrust into this experience with the unexpected passing of my 80yr old father 2 weeks ago, I dropped off the radar, stopped creating content in service to others and focused majority of my energy on tackling a task I have never undertaken before.

Being given the role of executor of my father’s estate is not something I was prepared for, it required drawing from experiences and knowledge of other areas of life to pull this off.

It is my hope that sharing this with you will serve you if you find yourself in this role.

I can only really speak from my own experience even though other family members were involved, so what I will share will be from my personal experience of the journey of the last 2 weeks, which taught me so much.
