  • Arbias from Kosovo - Being a child refugee, overcoming and living with hatred, reasons for hope.

In today’s episode of the podcast I was joined by Arbias from Kosovo. I consider myself an extremely lucky guy to have been able to sit down with Arbias and listen to his story. He has experienced true hardship in his life but also demonstrated incredible grit and resilience.

  • Buddy from Sri Lanka - Following a dream career to Dublin, how he became a magician, the value of magic.

In this episode I chat to Buddy who hails all the way from Sri Lanka. We talk about his life in Sri Lanka and how a dream career took him to Dublin. But I have to say, what I loved most about his story is about how he became a magician. Have a listen to how he found his mentor and how that mentor taught him all that he needed to know, it’s really inspiring! He finishes the chat by performing a trick which blew my mind, hopefully you’ll be able to appreciate it via this podcast.

Those small acts are the lifeblood of this show and without them, unfortunately this show will just get lost amongst the noise. For those of you who have already done so, I cannot thank you enough.

  • Ahmed from Egypt - Situation in Palestine, modern day vs. ancient Egypt, the Arab Spring and how an Irishman started the Egyptian Revolution.

This conversation is a recording of myself and Ahmed who is from Egypt. This is a longer than usual episode but we go in-depth into a number of different topics like some of the differences between modern day and ancient Egypt, the story of how he was shot during the Arab Spring, how an Irishman could be held responsible for starting the Egyptian revolution back in 1919 and we also discuss the horrific scenes currently taking place in Gaza. This episode takes a while to get going but trust me there is a lot in it, lots of laughs but some tears too.
