In today's show we are talking about how to let go of the desire to be perfect and accept the imperfect moments in life.
We usually get stuck in the ego mind that says there is a "right" and "wrong" way to do something, and those patterns keep us small, keep us from taking risks and trying new things, and run us ragged as we strive to live the "perfect" life.
That's not what you're heart wants. That's not what living an authentic, free-spirited life is about. That's what we're talking about
Do you ever keep quiet to avoid conflict?
Do you ever not put yourself "out there" because you worry about what others will think or say?
Do you stay in a job you hate because you think it's what yours supposed to be doing?
Do you work hard to have a clean house, healthy meals and perfect body to the point of pure exhaustion?
Do you beat yourself up for what you aren't getting to?
These are examples of how wanting life to be "just so" drains our emotional and spiritual energy.
Let's practice letting go of perfect together.

Thanks for listening and thanks for being...YOU.

You'll hear 7 tips on how to stay more centered, grounded and connected to love, joy and gratitude, so that you can less likely get swept away by an abundance of stress, overwhelm and anxiety during the holidays.
There's a lot going on this time of year. If we aren't paying attention, we can easily get caught up in over-consumption, distractions and busyness, and once the holidays are over this leaves us in a "holiday coma." We end up spending too much, eating too much, rushing around and are left feeling disconnected and frustrated. That's not a very mindful way to start the New Year!
Let's explore simple ways to create a holiday season that is more inline with your authentic self, values and priorities so that you can feel encouraged and inspired to feel more peace, calm and presence during this season and beyond.
If you are looking for a creative gift this season, consider holistic life coachingor Reiki energy healingsessions.

Do you ever feel like you want to crawl into bed with a quilt, stack of books, hot tea and get away from it all?
That's what happens to me in the winter. In this season, I feel called to hibernate, to rest, reflect and renew.
This is a season to go within, to slow down and yet, our holiday time can get chaotic and stressful.
In this show, I am sharing my own personal journey of allowing my path to unfold, rather than forcing it to happen. That it's ok to be in the mess of life. And rather than getting consumed by the busy of this holiday season, how I'd like to be more intentional, make more mindful choices and listen to my intuition.
This is the season of giving and receiving love. How will you choose to experience this season?
Just for today, I choose love. How about you?
Thanks for listening and for sharing!

In today's show, we explore the power of retreating. Whether it's a long weekend, a half-day or even 20 minutes in your day, making space for solitude, rest and stillness can have a life-changing effect on your life.
I just returned from a 4-day retreat in the woods with an amazing group of women and I still feel a natural high from our experience together. Creating space to step outside of your everyday routine is so liberating!
We all crave stillness, even if we don’t know it yet.
If you are racing through your day, yet still feeling unsettled, restless or tired of the pace, your soul is speaking to you. Your heart is nudging you to carve out space for stillness.
If you don’t schedule time to take breaks from the everyday pace of life, no one else will do it for you.
Going on retreat is about becoming a self-advocate and about learning how to state what you need. Even if you feel guilty or selfish for taking time for yourself, you know deep down inside that you are longing for the break.
When I make space for stillness, I feel way more connected to my authentic self, I feel happier, more relaxed and less irritable with my loved ones and the people and experiences I’m faced with day-to-day. I feel like I know myself better and feel more centered, so that when I’m hit with confusion and chaos, I am better able to make decisions that are inline with my intuition. When I start snapping at everyone, feeling a lot of confusion or feeling purely exhausted, I know it’s my bodies way of reminding me to slow down, to take a break and to be still.
I recognize the longing in my soul to be connected to a source that is greater to me when I make space to retreat.
Wherever you are, in this moment, is right where you need to be, and when you carve out space in your life to experience stillness, you remember that. It's in this knowing that greater calm, peace and ease flow more freely in your life.

In today's show I'm so excited to be bringing you this beautiful conversation with Spirituality and Transformational Coach, Sarah Jenks.
Sarah helps women “come out” as who they truly are. She shares her own story about coming to terms with the “lie” that so many of us have been sold which is, you should just be happy with a husband, a few kids and a cute house. So many women wake up one day and are hit with the revelation; “I have everything I ever wanted, why aren’t I happy?”
Through earth based spirituality, historical perspective and inspirational coaching, Sarah gives women permission to finally get out of the “one size fits all” mentality to happiness and create a life that is truly theirs.
Sarah has been featured in Success Magazine, Parents Magazine, Health Magazine, Martha Stewart and Glamour.
In this show she shares more about her emotional eating journey, how she discovered that she was bored with her life and how she "rehabbed" it. After years of hating her body and using food for comfort and to reduce stress, Sarah learned that she didn't need to use food in order to feed what was missing. That's when her whole life started to shift.
Sarah shares how this life change led her to buy a retreat center - where she brings women together on retreats and in full moon ceremonies. We also talk about the cycles of the moon, the divine feminine, why we should all go on retreat and the power that happens when women come together in circle.

In today's show we talk about the importance of creating an evening ritual for peaceful sleep.
Sleep deprivation causes higher levels of anxiety, feelings of depression, disrupts your natural rhythm, makes you feel irritable about the little things, clouds your judgment and can lead to poor decisions, as well as other health concerns.
Getting better sleep improves your mood and memory, helps you make healthier choices, reduces irritability, anxiety and depression, lowers stress, helps you see things more clearly and helps you feel more energized and better overall.
Listen to the show for tips on creating an evening ritual of your own and listen to my challenge at the end of the show.

Sometimes we forget that to be brave means we have to walk through our fear - not that we are fearless. To be brave and to do something courageous means we have to walk forward and connect with our fear.
So often we think we are weak when we feel scared, that we aren't courageous in the face of fear and that we can't be brave.
This show is about embracing the fear energy you feel during the small and bigger scary moments in your life so you can practice walking forward as you cultivate courage. (I also share more details about a fire walking ceremony I recently participated in!)

We explore mindfulness and money, and how we can start making healthier money decisions that support the life we want to live.
We talk about the importance of money healing and how that journey starts from the inside out. When we learn about our personal money stories we can heal and grow from them, while discovering our "enough-ness." We touch on money shame and why we feel embarrassed to even talk about our money.
We dive deeply into the topic of being an "under-earner," and how to break the cycle of over-giving / under-receiving. How important it is to create healthy boundaries and to practice saying "no" more often.
This conversation is rich with powerful and practical tips and Bari's wise, loving guidance will empower you on your money healing journey.Bari Tessler Linden, M.A., is a Financial Therapist, Mentor Coach, Mama-preneur and author. She has guided thousands of people to new, empowered, and refreshingly honest relationships with money through her nurturing, body-centered approach. Her methodology weaves together personal, couple, and creative entrepreneurial money teachings into one complete tapestry.
