A soldier always counts the cost.  He has a plan.  He makes a promise to serve and protect and follows through.  A purple heart is not easy to earn, because someone is always trying to murder the Hero...  But as I have mentioned in this podcast and ones prior to this, "dying a coward not okay.  Dying a Hero.  A child of God, even if afraid... Okay."  I hope this podcast resonates with you as I discuss Luke 14:28.   Counting the costs as you build your house...  (family, children, career, and purpose) is very important.   If the foundation is bad.  So is the infrastructure, and thus nothing can stand.  But, with God, when you let Him build the building... you can be sure even when others are going in and out of those doors, there is Love, safety, and Hope there... God is as good as a Landlord, Carpenter, or Architect as you will find.  Trust him with the plans for your life...  and everything else will be fine.
