THIS IS OBVIOUSLY DC COMICS BABY... In my moment to be creative I was inspired to do this small piece as well as start a script for it.  Not a shameless plug, but, a shameless plug   They're just finding out this is my way of filling out a job application. Now, whether it is a comic book, movie, or real life... Someone is always trying to murder the Hero.  But as per the Bible, that is why you should count the costs, in everything you do... However, you should know, that living as a Hero is priceless.  In one of my Short-stories, I wrote, "Being a Hero even though you're afraid, okay.  Dying a coward, not okay."  Legacy is all about other people.  Not just you... It is about every individual connected to your life.  When you stand up to those bullies.  They run!  Then you prosper. That's Bible. And you thought everyone at DC was heathen... No, dey' church!  LOL.

My song, "A Day to Remember" is a reference to the Bible scriptures in Psalm 90:4 and 2 Peter 3:8.  Sometimes in life we forget that God's time is not our time.  And that though WE are bound by time, HE is not...  Thus, we must trust his doing and the moments he chooses to do that which we are waiting on him for.   Even when it comes to losing a loved one, remember that as there was a predestined time to enter the world, so you must trust God that He knows the best time to call you home... or that so loved one...  I hope this song resonates with you.  I think it's very pretty.  :)

"The State-men(t)" is an excerpt from a Short-story I am writing.  It is an action/drama based in the Middle East.   The story culminates with a woman of mixed descent doing Operations for a special agency that has a rift with the States.  She has her own reasons why she's taking the gig.  But, most importantly there is one thing that is non-negotiable of her getting... THE GUY.  Someone owes her.  And Karma will make sure he pays.

This monologue story is a life story.  I wrote it with Love in mind.  But it sorta' reflects what I've been going through as a single woman, single parent, and just plain ole' single. :) I enjoy taking my gifts and thinking outside the box.  So, I hope you also enjoy this creative piece as much as I did making it.

YOUNG PEOPLE!  To all the youthful couples out there!  This rough draft is a peek at a Wedding Rap Song I wrote called "In My Bed".  It's cool.  It's catchy.  It's for you!  
Sometimes, church folk can be too churchy.  Every now and then, we need a little more spice to prevent a bland recipe from diluting the Love effect.  Marriage is supposed to be on fire ALL the time!  Maybe the problem is not enough LAJ music!!!  :)  Enjoy.
