Gone are the days of the annual written performance review and a one-time meeting between employee and manager. According to Gallup, employees who do not feel adequately recognized are twice as likely to say they'll quit in the next year. To combat that, employers are looking to incorporate continuous or ongoing feedback to help build stronger bonds with their employees.

About Jon Pace

Jon Pace is the Director of Operations at IT Direct in Hartford, CT.  His role is wide-spanning and covers not only business operations, but also HR, team development, and recruiting. Jon’s passion is to guide his teammates to success and to continue his own personal and business development. He enjoys learning and growing through life experiences, Ted talks, personal and professional development books, and seminars. At IT Direct, Jon uses his interpersonal and leadership skills to break down traditional barriers. He has made changes big and small, such as replacing annual performance reviews with stronger 1o1 practices, developing an intentional workplace culture, and creating a leadership development program. In addition to his many career successes, Jon describes himself, first and foremost, as a “family man” with three kids and a great wife by his side. He is a triathlete and just completed his first ½ Ironman this year!
