This episode splits up into boys and girls, as the fellas have a competition to see who can earn the title of Godfather to Gary’s child as they make their way to the last Bruins game of the season, and the gals go to an escape room as their last hang before Maggie has her baby. Also, Danny talks about approaching his first time going all the way, Greta has a great episode with some legit funny lines, and both Maggie and then Gary confront the biggest heel in the game, Dr. Jessica.

In this episode, Rome puts his dad through a driving test after a parking lot incident (we were totally #TeamRomesDad, btw), Eddie tries to go on a date after working with Greta on his profile, Sophie makes a friend busking and becomes the worst food truck employee in America, and Dr. Maggie deals with morning sickness, tries to bank episodes, and ends up finding a new obstacle to overcome…and she knows Gary pretty well.

Folks? We’re back, one more time. It’s the first episode of the final season of A Million Little Things, and Kevin and Dave return after a lengthy hiatus to cover: Gary’s secret being revealed, a funeral fake out (still sad, but not the MOST sad, we guess) some light thieving with Danny driving the getaway car, and getting in touch with someone important from Gary’s dad’s past. Gina finds herself supporting the frankly never-parented Sophie, Rome helps his dad as he struggles with a new problem, Katherine & Maggie go baby shower registering, and Eddie and Anna come to an end as a couple, which is long overdue but is done in a classy way.

Thanks for coming back to us, Million Little Podfriends! We’ll keep this last dance going til the music stops.

Our season 4 journey has come to an end with kind of a bummer of a twist! But there’s also some good news to go around: Gary and Maggie have some very big ups and downs all within one episode; Katherine’s mom goes all “cool grandma” to solve a problem, Rome helps bridge the gap between Maddox and his dad, and we don’t have to hear Vali be smug for a few more months. All good things! In the bad category: Eddie has yet another tragic turn, of course, and the mystery of the Perverted Teacher and the Stairs is solved.

We once consistently referred to Eddie as a “Weiner,” and now? He’s our guy! He’s settling in with Anna until the quiet girl from Sophie’s support group breaks some news that might ultimately change everything. Katherine is ABOUT that drama with our movie star and Greta. It’s egg retrieval time for Gary and Maggie, whose mom steps up to the plate, while Rome deals with an old problem who is now a new problem (Maddox’s dad), and Gina deals with Yale-ditching Tyrell and his new cocky, judgmental girlfriend who has been around for two weeks and suddenly knows everything. One more episode to go this year, and — breaking news — ANOTHER SEASON AFTER THAT. Will Kevin & Dave be written off the podcast version of the show? We’ll find out…soon.

Shanice is back and she’s bringing gifts and a whole vibe for Katherine, until she finds out about Greta. Maggie’s mom comes to town and causes problems, before she helps to fix a big one. Gary and Maggie make a big commitment, Rome helps a student come out, Sophie starts a support group and Anna almost ruins it. Oh, and Tyrell f***s.

Eddie stumbles upon Katherine’s new living situation (Greta the roommate) which leads to some #realtalk about Greta’s bipolar diagnosis, and then Eddie stumbles upon an alibi for Anna (who may not tbe he real killer of Professor Pervert). Rome has a rough first day as a teacher with a  bunch of entitled a-hole kids — and one nice one who has a breakthrough moment. Gary and Maggie proceed with their fertility journey and it leads to absolute hijinks as Gary bumps into Sophie and tries to beat a ticking biological clock of his own.

Maggie and Gary move in together, and wait for the green light to go to baby makin’ town, and their doctor visit ends up being productive for another reason: an alibi. Folks, it’s another murder episode but this one has a happy ending. Gina turns a catering failure into food truck success, Rome’s film still isn’t quite finding a home, but he has a new part-time job offer, and more importantly, Tyrell starts getting college acceptance and rejection news…all while the cameras are rolling. Eddie goes to a fan convention to sign autographs, and ends up feeling weird and meeting one of his biggest influences (Colin Hay cameo!). Sophie and Danny find a scavenger hunt their dad left for them and go on an adventure that is really fun and touching, and that might be a lovely little goodbye for Danny in America. Katherine meets Greta’s ex and they talk about making a big move. 

Let’s play 2! Dave & Kevin put together a double episode to catch up, covering “School Ties” and “Fingers Crossed.” Rome returns to his old school to screen his documentary and considers how hard to go in his speech, Maggie looks into how many years she has left to become a mother. She also finds a suspicious lump that Gary goes to get checked out, which takes us into his storyline in our second episode. Gina finds out the real story of her parents breakup, and is shocked at what she finds. Katherine goes to her 20 year high school reunion, debuts Greta to her friends as her girlfriend, and then? We get a big ol’ mess of a game night.

Maggie takes on the establishment at her radio station, which results in some collateral damage around her. Gary is a terrible wingman for the triumphantly returning Danny, Rome deals with some bad school flashbacks, Gina finds a new dream, and Eddie deals with the nervousness of taking his new relationship to the next level.
