I share my own experiences, from a helpful cashier to a motivated foundation co-founders I've crossed paths with.

We explore this by thinking of precise moments that are worthy of remembering rather than taking a broad look at the things we have to be thankful for. Also, I share a personal story of my collaborative work in building The Rivers, contrasting a river mindset with a reservoir mindset, and how my late son Nick once used the metaphor of a river to describe challenges in life.
