As content creators, we create lots of work for ourselves as well as for others. It's necessary to have backups of your work. And it's especially important that you have a copy (digital or physical) of the stuff that's not your own. Any movie I've worked on, I now make it a point to buy a BluRay copy of it so that way even if streaming platforms don't carry it, I'll always have it. If some of the projects you've worked on live on sites like YouTube, download a digital copy for safe keeping because you never know when it might be gone. Not only can you download individual ones, but you can also download whole playlists and channels. What makes it really beneficial is you can setup automatic downloads of channels you subscribe to. "Vulnerability minus boundaries is not vulnerability," argues Brene Brown. Much of her work explores what true vulnerability looks like.
