Amanda McKenzie is the CEO of the Climate Council, formerly known as the "Climate Commission" until former PM Tony Abbott came along in 2013 and what was a clear illustration of his climate colours, disbanded the commission.

However, as is well known, good ideas do not surrender to such misguided, brute force and so after a brief hesitation the former commission re-appeared and renamed as the "Climate Council", but this time with broad public support, both morally and financially.
