Welcome to Episode 38, where we're about to embark on a journey into the heart of your home: your kitchen.
From bill paying to meal prep, homework to socializing, we'll explore the wide range of activities that unfold in this vital space. We use our kitchens for much more than cooking these days, yet deep down many of us are holding on to traditional beliefs around cooking, family dinners, and kitchen dynamics. I’ll share how this can cause unnecessary suffering.
Join me as I encourage you to explore your kitchen standards and break down those hidden obstacles. I’ll also give you practical advice to tailor your kitchen to your current lifestyle. You’re more organized than you think.

Frazzled is another descriptor for the mental and emotional load. For me, frazzled feels like a dense brain cloud. When I’m frazzled I can’t even seem to make the simplest decisions. My mind is cluttered, and I’m not 100% aware of it.
In today’s episode I’ll outline how when feeling frazzled becomes the norm it affects your body, well-being, and relationships. I’ll also share my process to recognize then shift away from feeling this way. I offer a series of self-reflection questions to help you identify the mental clutter that’s weighing on you.. We often forget that each of us has a choice to continue in our current patterns or to do things differently. Frazzled does not have to be the norm!

In our productivity-oriented culture, there’s so much focus on the to-do list. Keeping track of what you’d like to accomplish is helpful, yet when we use it as a measuring stick of success it can be disheartening. Instead, I prefer redirecting my brain toward what I have already completed each day.
In today's episode, I will outline why I believe to-do lists are problematic. Then, I’ll share a simple exercise to help you re-frame your days and weeks to focus on what you've done instead of operating in an overwhelming cycle of to-dos. This process builds a mindset of success and is another tool to help you live a more organized life.

Today, I'm talking about procrastination. It's a tool you can use to increase pressure on your output, but it's not who you are. Most folks who use procrastination know that they do it. The difficulty occurs when you add a layer of self-judgment and shame for putting a task off. This makes procrastination painful. Understanding why you use it and how you’re actually increasing your own suffering is the first step towards change.
I will share a bit about my relationship with procrastination, and I’ll share a few behavior descriptions coined by Dr. Abigail Levrini. I’ll also offer several solutions you can implement and practice. My goal is to help you create awareness so that you’re in control of your future choices. You’re more organized than you think.
