A Podcast Called Fresh

This episode was recorded sometime mid march 2020, sorry we can't say the precise date but things have been crazy lately. Maps starts this episode off talking about how the COVID-19 virus has impacted his life, as well as his thoughts on how the world is reacting to it. From there Maps vents about his family and how the recent pandemic has changed things regarding his aunts funeral. Lastly, Maps reviews the new Falcon And Winter Soldier as well as the greatest comic possibly ever...NIGHTHAWK!

Before we begin we want you know that yes Maps knows he's mispronouncing it, and several people have told him....We start this episode off with the best blerd you ever heard talking how death is currently affecting his life he struggles with being nice because he feels like he's coming off as disingenuous. Following that Mr. Prower talks politics reality TV and plugs the hell out of Delicate Dominance Podcast From there Miles does a review of the movie Promare, by Studio Trigger. There was supposed to be a review of Kill la Kill and Studio Trigger itself, but it never got turned in. We save the best part for last this episode! The last portion of the episode is a review of Pokemon Sword/Shield and a exclusive interview with Tommy Diamond of Machamp's Gym on Facebook and Discord! We hope you enjoy our first non in-house interview as well as most likely the longest episode we've had in awhile. Kelen said we should chop this into two episodes...yet here we are. Enjoy.

Make sure to go check out The Delicate Dominance Podcast, you're playing yourself if you don't!

First off excuse the audio, I got new hardware, 5 kids and one of them just turned 4 months! Episode 2 of season 2 starts off with Maps apologizing for the wait and explaining to you all about the upcoming changes to your favorite blerd podcast. After doing this for about a year plus, Maps wants to get a little more personal with you guys....and he does just that! Maps starts off riffing about non-creative Selena Gomez's video is for Lose You To Love Me. From there Deku's Daddy weighs in on Zion Wade,Snoop Dogg/Gayle King, how he feels out of place in this new "woke" world and just generally getting used to always being underwhelmed by things. Lastly we finish up with a uninterrupted review of the movie Queen and Slim, featuring Miles Amadeus Prower's mother Bubby! Welcome to a very special APCF, and most likely the last of its kind. How does one get Maps to open up you ask? You let Maps... do Maps. The legendary Laker hater was given some conversation motivators, and the rest is history. So sit back and enjoy the story of the origins of Maps’ hate of the Lakers and how he's handling the passing of Kobe Bryant.

No, we didn't upload the same episode twice...we'd never play you like that. Instead of trying to chop this up into 2-3 episodes I felt doing anything other than releasing this in it's entirety would be an injustice. This originally started off as my daughters bum-rushing me and making me review the Steven Universe Movie, which they did. Long story short due to the timing of things I was able to watch and review Matthew A. Perry's Hair Love animated Short with both my oldest two daughters AND my Mom! Be forewarned now; the review with my Mother goes way off just reviewing, we talk about colorism, racism, propaganda and just blackness in general. We're sure you'll enjoy this episode and you might even learn something! Please remember to subscribe and to leave us a comment on iTunes.

Sorry for the delay, you can blame the holidays and my 2 month old son Deku! A Podcast Called Fresh is back like we never left and right like we never left! This episode Maps was bullied into doing this episode under guerrilla tactics! We start this episode off with me and my oldest daughter talking about Steven Universe The Movie and even open up about my own issues with my gyrls watching said cartoon. The second half of this episode I review the short animated movie Hair Love, by going over it with my two oldest daughters as well as my Mother! That's right, my birth giver, Bubby, is making her APCF debut......and things get very pro-black.

This episode was delayed by Pokemon Shield and my son Deku! Whats upper? Ya boy Maps her, with another solo episode for ya....we couldn't let Kels have ALL the fun! This episode I start off giving thanks for listener reviews, and how much the feedback we get on social media means to us. From there I review Trill League, by Anthony Piper, a DC parody graphic novel that I've had my eye on for some time. Lastly I review a comic called Excellence, written by Brandon Thomas, which I believe is the very definition of black magic! Crank up ya headphones and clear out 30 minutes of your time for another great episode of A Podcast Called Fresh! Blerd up.
