since today it was 20 years ago september 11 happened with all its sadness and horrors, i wanted to tell my story from this day. i put it into context of how 2001 overall was for me and how this day changed everything for me.

i want to add that this is just my personal story and i was one of the lucky ones since i did not know anyone whom worked at the world trade centre.

these last couple of days i have listened to a few podcasts featuring other points of views, i will link 3 of them here.

today i am reading from walt whitman's "o me! o life!".

it is such a beautiful poem. from such despair of one man to the answer from god telling us how important that it is that we are here, that we are alive, everything continues while we can contribute our gifts to the world, however big or small.

i am alive. i am here. i can contribute.
