welcome to episode 3 of my podcast a poetic picnic.

today's poem is one i created for the swedish church in london's magazine kyrkobladet back in early 2018. the theme of the magazine was "utsatt och värdefull" (meaning vulnerable & precious) and so my poem was created with this in mind.

in today's episode i read one of mary oliver's poems "why i wake early", it is such a lovely one.

mary oliver is one of my all time favourite artists, i simply adored how she took in her life in to her work and vice versa. there will be many more readings of her work.
