This same time every year, we are intent to hear the Lord and discern His direction for the coming year. And because every believer has a measure of prophetic unction, each one has insight for the future, something the Lord wants for us, as much as we want it. I believe that many are hearing the Lord clearly. He reveals His goodness to us for the days ahead.      There are, however, yet unsettled matters in the Lord’s purview from the year now ending. This matter involves instances where opposition came with a vengeance, even precedence-setting cruelty against those who have stood and stood and stood for the faith, who have patiently sown for a harvest in the Lord’s field. Accusation, taunts, threats of loss, and tormenting mind-control are meant to break the human spirit and resolve of the one standing, and thereby gain the upper hand and power-over them—to crush them.        For those who can relate to an attack like this, be assured. Even now, God is working behind the scenes on your behalf. His plan is greater. To the faithful, He shows Himself faithful. The accuser will fall on his own counsel, his strategy marked for destruction. An unlikely ally will step forward. You will see lying vanities exposed. Those positioned to make a difference will. No weapon formed against you will prosper, and every word spoken against you will fall, powerless.
