For nearly half a century, Will Shortz has left a lingering mark on the the world of crossword puzzles. After starting his career at Penny Press and Games magazine, he was hired by the The New York Times in 1993 where he still works in 2023. He's also known as NPR's Weekend Edition's Puzzlemaster. He and 5 Things Sunday host James Brown discuss his life, work, and the world of puzzles.
