— Ultimately, it came down to "What am I passionate about?" The answer to that question was "My spirituality". That's what I love, that's what I am passionate about. All that I had learned from my Order, about life, its mysteries, and how to work with the powers of the Universe -- that's what turns me on. After coming to "know" that, I turned my focus on how do I make this a new life. – Says Jeff
Valeria Teles interviews Jeffrey Segal — an Author, Life Coach, Artist, Founder Of Mystic Journey Bookstore And Mystic Journey Crystals, And Speaker.
Jeffrey Segal was raised and educated in Los Angeles. He went to Occidental College and then to law school at American University in Washington, D.C. After securing his JD in 1985, Jeffrey returned to Los Angeles and began what turned out to be a 25+ year legal career. Before beginning that career, however, Jeffrey failed the bar exam. This "failure" turned out to be one of the most positive events in Jeffrey's life. It was this "failure" that "inspired" Jeffrey to turn to a set of spiritual teachings he had been given, but had never looked at, to help him overcome the bar exam hurdle.
These teachings, and the manifestation techniques contained therein, not only helped Jeffrey pass the bar exam the next time, but they became the guiding life principles he has used ever since to create all that he wanted in his life. It is these teachings that are the core of this book. Jeffrey then began his legal practice. But after ten years he started to become disenchanted. As time passed, this feeling became disillusionment, lack of fulfillment, and ultimately an intense desire to get out of law. But the 'golden handcuffs' were too tight. He couldn't leave. That was until, after some twenty years of practice, Jeffrey "created" a cancer in his body, a cancer to finally force him out. While the doctors initially thought they had caught the cancer early, a follow-up test revealed a lymph node abnormality. The doctors wanted Jeffrey to undergo chemotherapy. Jeffrey instinctively knew, however, that this was not the right path for him. Instead, he chose a course of natural/alternative healing. He put together a team of healers, including an acupuncturist, a bodyworker, an energy worker, and a traditional therapist to guide him on his path of healing. After six months of working with his team, the abnormality had completely disappeared. It was during this time of healing that Jeffrey
decided to leave the practice of law and follow his passion in the realm of spirituality, and create Mystic Journey Bookstore.

Annie Beyers has everything―a beautiful house, a loving husband, and an adorable daughter. It's a day like any other when she takes Hannah to the pediatrician…until she wakes hours later from a car accident. When she asks for her daughter, confused doctors tell Annie that Hannah never existed. In fact, nothing after waking from the crash is the same as Annie remembers. Five happy years of her life apparently never happened. Annie's marriage is coming to an end. Now a successful artist living in Manhattan, she's no longer home in their beloved upstate farmhouse. Her long-estranged sister is more like a best friend, and her recently deceased dog is alive and well. With each passing day, Annie's remembered past and unfamiliar present begin to blur. — Dr. Ronald L. Mann provides individuals the tools to move beyond the limitations of body identification with the more limited definition of self that is defined by one's thoughts, feelings, emotions, and physicality. Being "awake" has a much more profound meaning than just getting up in the morning after a night's rest, drinking a cup of coffee, and getting started with your day's activities. It is realizing a more expanded state of self beyond the limited "ego" to a higher sense of Self or the soul. Consciousness wants to evolve through us. We are all on a journey of returning to the source of Love. On our way, we can either coast along with the current or use a paddle to speed our journey. We are all going home.

— The best gift we can give our planet is working to live in a vibration of peace and love. If all humans were emitting mostly love and peaceful vibrations, we could restructure the world. If all of humanity took the time to focus on self-growth, spirituality, and mindset work, imagine the world we "could create. Perhaps contrast is only necessary to create that world. Sandie Gascon see our planet and all the beings on it as a single organism. Humans can either be pathogens, fighting each other and destroying the host along with each other; or we can be one with the planet, working to nurture it and grow. One cannot meet any of the world's issues with anger, resentment, and hate. That only brings more of it. First, we must finish the war going on in our own bodies and minds. End the violence that is there. Be in a state of allowance for what is happening within you and in the world, while believing in your ability to influence your surroundings. Raise your vibration to these higher levels of consciousness, Heal Yourself, Body, Mind, and Spirit, and help change the world.

Her purpose is to help educate others on the importance of shifting focus to rebuilding and rebalancing the body and removing internal and external stress so the body can heal itself.

— Kundalini Yoga, known as "the Yoga of awareness," is an ancient technology for awakening the life force lying dormant within each one of us. Conceptualized as a sleeping serpent, coiled up at the base of our spine, this latent source of primordial energy is mobilized through the actions and components of the kriyas that lie at the heart of Kundalini Yoga practice. A Kriya is a sequence of physical movements or postures that often include pranayam (breathwork), mantras (sacred syllables), mudras (hand positions), bandhas (body locks), as well as eye focus and angular positions to awaken, direct and contain the flow of this spiritual energy within. The benefits of Kundalini Yoga are felt on both the physical and the etheric planes, since as that dormant force arises, it strengthens our vitality and sense of well-being, while simultaneously expanding our consciousness and enhancing our capacity for joy and fulfillment through divine union—the ultimate goal of all Yogas. As such, it is both a therapeutic, as well as a highly potent spiritual system, culminating in our awakening and transformation. Our moods, attitudes and general outlook on life are related to the light that shines forth from within us. In Kundalini Yoga, we call it radiance.

Valeria Teles interviews Dr. Colleen Campbell — the author of "Career Compass: A Guided Journal for Discovering a Fulfilling Career Path and Designing a Life You Love."
Dr. Colleen Campbell helps smart people achieve more, be it in their careers, their relationships, or those who just want to get un-stuck. She is more than a coach or a therapist: She is an advocate…a cheerleader…who will hold your vision at times when you feel shaken.
The coaches and counselors at the Ignite Your Potential Center use innovative techniques and training to help people have more fulfilling careers and lives.
Dr. Campbell's own journey feeds deeply into her work with others. There was a time many years ago when she was struggling with less than effective coping and communication skills. She was a waitress in a low paying, dysfunctional restaurant uncertain how to catapult herself towards the life she dared to want. Slowly, over time, Dr. Campbell began her own change process that included meditation, self-inquiry, studying with cutting edge teachers and coaches within workshops and universities, and covering many modalities. Early on in that journey, she read the book The Road Less Travelled by Scott Peck, and recognized that overcoming her own obstacles, figuring out how to heal and grow through her own challenges, made her well suited to help others. She realized then that working with others to recognize and actualize their potential, was the most fulfilling thing she could do with her life.
