Not every congregational Rabbi in the US one day tells his congregation that he will be moving home to Israel with his family. Rabbi Eli Mischel did just that, after spending years instilling in his congregation a love for Torah, Israel and the importance of all Jews to take advantage and move back to our ancestral homeland.
Today, instead of a backyard in New Jersey, he has a beautiful view of Jerusalem from the Judean hills front yard.
